Peter Kinloch a past student at the College sadly died recently after conquering the summit of Everest.

The engagement was announced in the Daily Telegraph of Friday 17th July 2009 of Thomas Lightbody and Samantha Duthie.
21/07/2009Death of Mervyn RL Sluming (1970)
We are sad to record the death of Mervyn on 27th June 2009. His funeral was held on Thursday 9th July which would have been his 56th birthday. Mervyn played for a number of years in the OL Tennis VI and had a dental practice in Walton.
12/07/2009Death of Hugh W Roxburgh GM MA (1979)
AH Roxburgh (1969) advised us of the death last week of his father Hugh Roxburgh, a very much loved and respected member of the Lower School Common Room from which he retired in 1979. A graduate of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, he was a very brave, dignified and caring Schoolmaster who helped mould the lives of so many generations of OLs from the 1940s to the 1970s. We give great thanks for his life and cherish his memory.

12/07/2009Death of Derric de Vere Watson (1941)
We were very sorry to hear of the death of Derric on 31st May 2009. Derric, along with his friend and fellow OL Paul Brenikov, were great supporters of Founders Day and OL Dinners. He will be sadly missed on these occasions.
