JAB Johnson (1956) "eagle eye"
We are indebted to the "eagle-eye" of JAB Johnson (1956)
for spotting announcements in the Liverpool Echo and the Daily
Telegraph of the deaths of two OLs who were not members of the
Society:-
Dr JR Carruthers
Bob died suddenly on 19th January 2009 in Canterbury. The announcement noted that he had attended Liverpool College and Oxford University
Dr MJT Peaston PhD FRCP (c. 1953)Michael died on 3rd May 2009 at home in Chaddesley Corbett.

OL Gala Evening
The Old Lerpoolian Society, held a Gala Evening on Saturday 11th October in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Steve Rotheram and the Lady Mayoress, in the elegant surroundings of the Banquetting Hall in the Adelphi Hotel
