AH Roxburgh (1969) advised us of the death last week of his father Hugh Roxburgh, a very much loved and respected member of the Lower School Common Room from which he retired in 1979. A graduate of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, he was a very brave, dignified and caring Schoolmaster who helped mould the lives of so many generations of OLs from the 1940s to the 1970s. We give great thanks for his life and cherish his memory.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday 21st July at 12.00 St. Johns Church, Upper Studley, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0ED. All those who knew him are welcome to attend, it has been requested that rather than flowers being sent that a donation be made to the Liverpool Cathedral Choir who are fundraising for a trip to Poland.
